Original price $129.00
Current price $99.00
SKU 1035-1170
Available for download, Acon Digital's Restoration Suite 2 consists of four audio restoration and noise reduction plug-ins that target noise, hum, clicks, crackles, plosives, and more. It can also restore audio recordings distorted by analog or digital clipping.

Improvements have been made to version 2 of the four plug-ins included within the suite. DeNoise 2 introduces dynamic noise profiles that help to reduce noise that changes over time. This can be a boon in mitigating issues of wind or rustling.

DeNoise 2, DeClick 2, and DeHum 2 now support mid-side processing to reduce unwanted fluctuations in the stereo field. DeClick 2 has been improved overall and can now fix plosives and thumps. Also, you can use it at higher sensitivities without causing artifacts.

DeHum 2 now boasts a fine-tune button that scans for and automatically estimates the hum's frequency. DeClip 2 has been overhauled to give you better reconstruction of clipped signals.

All the plug-ins now offer surround support formats up to 7.1.6 channels. The suite will operate in Mac and Windows platforms and will work in AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats.

Acon Digital DeNoise 2

  • Advanced algorithms reduce stationary noise efficiently with minimal impact on the wanted material
  • Reduces noise in adaptive mode based on noise analysis
  • Dynamic Noise Profiles make it possible to remove noise that changes rapidly over time
  • Transient detection ensures that transients remain untouched throughout the noise reduction process
  • Effective temporal smoothing reduces musical noise artifacts
  • Optional M/S processing
  • Target broadband and tonal noise or optionally broadband only
  • Graphical representation of input frequency spectrum and the noise profile
  • Frequency emphasis filter
    • High and low shelving filters with variable slopes (-3 to -96 dB/octave)
    • High and low peak filters with adjustable bandwidth (0.1 to 3 octaves)
    • Graphical representation of frequency response
    • Edit filter settings through handles in the frequency response curve
  • Solo Noise mode allows you to listen to the removed signal

Acon Digital DeHum 2

  • Remove hum and buzz with minimal loss of the wanted signal
  • Conventional notch filter mode or sinusoidal resynthesis algorithm
  • Sinusoidal resynthesis algorithm preserves wanted signal to a large extent
  • Adaptive mode allows removal of hum signals with a fluctuating fundamental frequency
  • Automatic fine tune button scans for fundamental frequency
  • Removes up to 96 harmonics
  • Optionally target odd harmonics only
  • Optional M/S processing
  • High-resolution spectrum analysis of the input signal
  • Visual indication of the estimated fundamental frequency as well as the harmonics
  • Solo Hum mode allows you to listen to the removed signal

Acon Digital DeClick 2

  • Separate detection and restoration from clicks, crackle, thumps, and plosives
  • Accurate detection of click start time and duration ensures minimal impact on the wanted material
  • Improved algorithm allows higher sensitivies without artifacts
  • CPU-efficient algorithm
  • Optional M/S processing
  • Visual curve meters show the clicks and crackle removal rates
  • Residual signal mode allows you to listen to the removed signal

Acon Digital DeClip 2

  • Improved algorithm over version 1
  • Reconstructs peaks distorted by analog or digital clipping
  • Separately adjustable upper and lower threshold values
  • Optional upper and lower threshold lock simplifies the workflow in the case of symmetrical clipping
  • Graphical representation of the input and output level histograms makes it easy to set the threshold values and monitor the restoration process visually
  • Threshold values can be adjusted directly from the level histograms by dragging upper and lower threshold handles
